A step cut emerald centre stone held in four round tipped claws, with one tapered baguette moissanite bar set on each side. The two side stones sit low and tuck in close against the centre stone girdle, so the three stones read as one continuous line of light across the finger. Below the head the gallery is left open, and the band tapers gently from the shoulders down to a slim flat wire at the back of the finger.

This is a three stone ring in the traditional sense. The centre carries the size and the two baguettes carry the rhythm. Because the baguettes are step cut like the centre, the whole ring behaves the same way in the light. There are no small sparkling accents pulling the eye in a different direction, and nothing competing with the centre stone. It is a quiet, architectural look rather than a busy one.

Our other emerald cut tapered baguette three stone ring is built on a rounder wire band of even width all the way around, and its baguettes are broader and sit further out along the shoulders, which makes the whole head read wider across the finger. This one is the slimmer of the two. The band is flat rather than round, it visibly narrows toward the back, the baguettes are narrower, and they angle in tight under the centre stone girdle instead of stepping outward. If you want the three stone line to look compact and close together, choose this one. If you want the head to look broader and more spread, choose the other.

Metals and sizes

Choose from 925 sterling silver, or 10K, 14K and 18K gold in yellow, rose and white. All gold is solid, not plated and not filled. White gold is finished with rhodium for a bright white surface. Centre stone sizes run from 2 carat to 5 carat, and the two tapered baguettes are scaled in proportion so the ring stays balanced at every size.

Mapple Gems is a family run workshop in Surat, India. Every ring is cut, set and finished by our own team after you place the order. Nothing is pulled off a shelf. Because we make each piece ourselves, we can adjust the band width, the claw style or the finger size before we begin. Please tell us in the order notes if you would like something changed.

Care

Moissanite is 9.25 on the Mohs scale and stands up well to daily wear. Clean the ring in warm water with a drop of mild dish soap and a soft brush, paying attention to the underside of the stones where light enters. Dry with a soft cloth. Take the ring off before swimming, gardening, gym work or applying lotions and perfume. Store it separately so harder stones do not scratch the metal.

Resizing

Because the pattern is limited to the head and the back of the band is plain, this design can usually be resized up or down by one to two sizes. Contact us before ordering if you are unsure of the finger size and we will help you measure.

Questions people ask

Is the centre stone a real diamond? No. This ring is set with moissanite, a distinct gemstone in its own right. It is not a simulated diamond and we do not describe it as one.

Are the side stones also moissanite? Yes. Both tapered baguettes are moissanite, colorless and VVS, cut to match the centre stone.

Will the baguettes fall out? Bar setting holds a baguette along its two long edges, which is a secure way to hold a rectangular stone. We recommend a check by a jeweller once a year, as with any set stone.

Can I wear a wedding band with it? Yes. The low profile and the slim tapered shank mean a straight band sits close against it. A contoured band will sit flush if you prefer no gap at all.

Does the price change with carat size? Yes. The 2 carat is the base price and each larger size adds a small amount. The price for each combination is shown when you select it.
