Why this ring works

Setting and band

Four claw prongs hold the corners of the emerald cut above an open gallery. Round brilliant moissanite accents are set at intervals along both shoulders, each in its own small claw setting, separated by spans of plain polished metal and reducing slightly in size as they run outward. The shank is slim and round, approximately one point seven millimetres, returning to plain metal at the back. Metal is solid throughout with a polished interior.

Metal options

Choose from recycled 925 sterling silver, or solid 10K, 14K and 18K gold in yellow, rose and white. Yellow gold, as photographed, is what makes spaced stations work, because the plain metal between the accents needs its own colour to register. Rose gold does the same warmer. White gold and sterling silver close the gap between metal and stone and the stations read less distinctly. White gold is rhodium finished.

Ring sizing

Every ring is made to order in your size. Sizes run from 3 to 13, including half sizes. The plain back of the shank allows minor adjustment later, but ordering the correct size keeps the station spacing even on your finger. Contact us if you are unsure and we will help before production starts.

Care

Individual claw settings collect lint at each set of prongs, though far less than a continuous pave row does. Clean every few weeks with warm water, mild dish soap and a soft toothbrush, working around each station and under the gallery. Rinse and dry with a lint free cloth.

Why space the accents instead of running pave? Spacing keeps the band feeling light and gives the centre stone room. It also means each accent reads as a distinct point of light rather than part of a continuous band.

How many accent stones are there? Three stations per shoulder as photographed, proportioned to your finger size and centre stone weight so the spacing stays even.

Do individually set accents come loose more easily? No. Each has its own full set of claws, which is arguably more secure than a shared pave bead. It is simply more bench time, which is why fewer makers offer it.

Which metal should I choose? Yellow or rose gold to make the spacing visible. White gold or sterling silver for a softer, more continuous effect. For daily wear over decades, 14K balances colour and durability best.
