Why this ring works

Each shoulder carries three colorless moissanite accents, prong set and graduated in size outward from the head, with a marquise cut between two rounds. The setting rises on a low cathedral curve from a slim plain shank of approximately one point eight millimetres. Metal is solid throughout with a polished interior.

Choose from recycled 925 sterling silver, or solid 10K, 14K and 18K gold in yellow, rose and white. Yellow gold, as photographed, outlines each small accent in warm metal so the graduation is easy to read. White gold and sterling silver blend the accents into the band for a quieter effect. Rose gold sits between the two. White gold is rhodium finished.

Ring sizing

Every ring is made to order in your size. Sizes run from 3 to 13, including half sizes. The accents sit only on the shoulders, so the plain back of the shank leaves room for future resizing.

Care

Clean every few weeks with warm water, mild dish soap and a soft toothbrush, working around each accent and under the centre stone. Rinse and dry with a lint free cloth. Remove the ring before swimming, gardening or lifting weights.

Questions people ask

Why are the side stones different sizes? They are graduated deliberately, largest nearest the centre and smallest at the outside, so the sparkle tapers away and keeps attention on the emerald cut.

Is this the same as a five stone ring? No. A five stone ring uses side stones large enough to be read as stones in their own right. These accents are small and decorative, so the ring is still read as a solitaire with detail.

Will the small accents catch on things? They are prong set close to the band and sit lower than the centre stone, so they rarely snag. The centre stone is the highest point of the ring.

Which metal should I choose? For maximum whiteness choose white gold or sterling silver. For the clearest view of the graduated accents choose yellow or rose gold. For daily wear over decades, 14K balances colour and durability best.
