Radiant Cut Moissanite Pavé Ring: Our Valentine Ring
A radiant centre on a classic pavé band, made all the way up to 5 carats. How the sizes read on the hand, and why the metal matters most at the top end.

Short answer: Our Valentine Ring sets a radiant cut moissanite on a band of classic pavé, made to order in 925 silver or solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold, in seven sizes from 2 carats (8.2 × 6.2 mm) to 5 carats (11 × 9 mm). At 5 carats it is a true statement ring; warm metal softens the large stone’s rainbow fire.
The name says Valentine, but this is a year-round classic: a radiant cut, which pairs the clean outline of an emerald cut with brilliant sparkle, on a band of fine pavé that adds glitter without competing. Our latest order was the largest size, 5 carats, in 14K yellow gold.

Note the small steps between some sizes: 3.5 to 4 carats adds only 0.2 mm each way. Moissanite is sold by millimetres with a diamond-equivalent carat figure, so compare the millimetres rather than the carats.
Why the metal matters most at large sizes
Moissanite’s dispersion is 0.104, more than twice diamond’s, and it grows with stone size. An 11 × 9 mm radiant in white metal throws bold rainbow flashes. Yellow and rose gold reflect warmth into the stone and soften them; white gold lets them show fully. Neither is right or wrong — decide which you prefer before you choose.

Our latest customer chose the 5 carat radiant in 14K yellow gold, a combination we like for a stone this size: the warm metal gives a richer, calmer glow, and 14K is hard enough to hold both the four corner prongs and the pavé well. An 11 mm stone sits wide on most fingers, so do the paper test first — cut a rectangle 11 × 9 mm and hold it on the finger. And because the pavé band limits resizing, get your size right before ordering.
