Short answer
A GRA certificate is a card commonly supplied with moissanite that states the stone's colour, clarity, size and a report number, sometimes matched to a laser inscription on the stone. It is not a grading report from an independent laboratory such as GIA or IGI, and it isn't recognised industry-wide as a grade. Treat it as the seller's description, and judge the stone by how it looks and by the seller's terms.
Diamond buyers are used to independent grading reports, so it's natural to look for the same thing with moissanite. The GRA card fills that expectation. It can be genuinely useful โ as long as you know what kind of document it is.

We'd rather tell you this than have you find out later: no major independent laboratory grades moissanite the way GIA or IGI grade diamonds.
