Stacking Eternity Bands: How Many, Which Shapes, and What Wears Well

Short answer
Two or three eternity bands stack well on one finger, especially when they vary in shape or setting โ for example a round claw band with an oval bezel band. Keep the same metal and similar widths, check the total width feels comfortable, and consider bezel or smooth-sided bands, since claw-set bands rubbing together can wear prongs and loosen stones over time.
Stacks can mark milestones โ wedding, anniversary, a birth โ or simply be a look you love. Because eternity bands have stones all the way round, how they sit against each other matters more than with plain bands.

Stacked bands rub against each other every time your hand moves. With two claw-set eternity bands side by side, prongs meet prongs, and over months they can wear down or bend, which is how stones loosen. The fix is to put a smooth surface between them: a bezel-set band, a channel-set band, or a plain metal spacer. And keep the stack the same metal and karat โ softer and harder alloys rubbing together wear unevenly.
