Toi et moi means you and me, and the form has always been about two stones sitting side by side rather than one dominating. Using two different colours as well as two different cuts pushes that idea further than the usual colourless pairing: the pear brings brilliance and the green emerald cut brings depth of colour, and neither reads as the accent to the other. This ring has no side stones. A toi et moi is two centre stones and nothing else, which is what keeps the balance between them.

Metal options

Available in 925 sterling silver, 10K yellow gold, 10K rose gold, 10K white gold, 14K yellow gold, 14K rose gold, 14K white gold, 18K yellow gold, 18K rose gold and 18K white gold. With a green stone the metal choice has a real effect: yellow gold sits close to green on the colour wheel and harmonises with it, while white gold creates more separation and lets the green read cooler and sharper. Rose gold produces the strongest contrast of the three. For everyday wear 14K is harder than 18K.

Ring size

Every ring is made to your finger size, so choose your size at checkout. If you are unsure, measure the inside diameter of a ring you already wear or ask us for a free size guide before ordering. A bypass shank sits slightly wider across the finger than a plain band.

Custom orders

Frequently asked questions

Is the carat weight for both stones together?
Yes. On a toi et moi the carat you select is the TOTAL across the two stones, not each one. A 4 carat selection gives roughly two carats per stone, and the two are cut to sit in proportion to each other.

Is a green lab grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. Same carbon structure and hardness as any diamond. Fancy colours in lab grown stones come from controlled conditions during growth rather than from a surface coating, so the colour goes all the way through the stone and cannot wear off.

Why is the colour graded differently?
Colourless diamonds use the D to Z scale where less colour is better. Fancy colours are graded on hue and saturation instead, so the green stone reads Fancy Green rather than a letter grade while the pear carries a normal E.

Will the green look the same in every light?
No. Coloured stones shift noticeably with lighting and with the metal around them, far more than colourless diamonds. If the exact shade matters to you, contact us before ordering and we will describe what we have rather than let a photograph decide it.

Which stone should sit closer to the hand?
Either. Tell us your preference and we will orient it that way at no extra cost.

How long does it take to make?
