A round brilliant lab grown diamond ringed by a single row of small round brilliants set close against the girdle, on a fine shank pave set along both shoulders.

The round halo is the most copied setting in jewellery and most versions get one thing wrong, which is the gap. If the halo stones sit even slightly away from the centre stone, a line of metal appears between them and the eye immediately separates the two, so the ring reads as a small diamond inside a ring of smaller diamonds. Set tight against the girdle with the beads sharing between neighbours, the boundary disappears and the whole head reads as one bright disc considerably larger than the centre stone alone. That is the entire point of a halo and it is worth paying attention to, because a well set halo on a two carat stone covers roughly the same area on the finger as a three carat solitaire. The shank is kept fine and pave set so the head stays the widest and brightest part of the ring, and the halo sits low so it does not lift the stone unnecessarily high.

Yes. It has the same carbon crystal structure, hardness and optical behaviour as a mined diamond and is graded on the same scales by the same laboratories.

A close set halo of this kind typically adds the appearance of half a carat to a full carat, depending on the size of the centre stone.

Will the halo stones match the centre stone in colour
Yes. We select the accent stones in the same colour range as the centre, which is why the halo does not read grey against it.

Does a halo ring sit under a wedding band
A halo is wider than the shank, so a straight band will leave a small gap. We can make a shaped band that follows the halo if you want the two to sit flush.

Can this ring be resized
Yes. The back of the shank is plain, so resizing does not disturb the pave or the halo.

How long does the ring take to make
Each ring is made to order. Allow fourteen to eighteen working days before dispatch.
