A princess cut lab grown diamond is held in four corner claws that wrap the points of the stone, and beneath the crown the basket is set with micro pave as a hidden halo. The square face sits flat and wide on the finger, and the shank behind it is a slim polished band with nothing set into it. It is a deliberately spare setting. A princess cut is already a strong geometric shape, so adding stones along the shoulders would only dilute it. What the hidden halo does instead is put light underneath the stone where it lifts the whole head without showing from above.

Band details

The shank is a slim polished round wire with no stones and no engraving, keeping a consistent width the whole way around. That makes it one of the easiest rings we make to resize, the most comfortable against neighbouring fingers and the least likely to catch. The hidden halo is set with matched micro pave on all four sides of the basket.

Metal options

Choose 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating, or solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Yellow gold gives the warm classic look shown in the photographs and frames the square stone clearly. White gold, rhodium finished, makes the diamond read a shade whiter and keeps the design cool and modern. Rose gold softens the corners visually. Every metal is hallmarked and every carat weight is available in every metal.

Yes. A lab grown diamond is chemically, physically and optically identical to a mined diamond and is graded on the same scale by the same laboratories.

Are the corners of a princess cut fragile
The four points are the thinnest part of the stone, which is why each one is held inside a claw that wraps around it rather than sitting beside it. Set correctly a princess is perfectly durable for daily wear.

How does a princess compare with a round for sparkle
A princess returns slightly less light overall than a round brilliant but shows more contrast, giving sharper flashes. It also wastes less rough during cutting, which is part of why it offers more face up size per carat.

What does the hidden halo add
It lifts the stone slightly and puts a line of light under the girdle, so the ring sparkles in profile without changing the clean square outline from above.

Can I wear a wedding band beside it
Yes. The straight plain shank lets any band sit flush on either side with no gap.
