Frequently asked questions

Why choose rose gold for a diamond ring?
Rose gold is an alloy of gold and copper, and that copper content gives it both its colour and a hardness advantage over yellow gold at the same karat. Visually it flatters a wide range of skin tones and gives a colourless diamond a warmer setting than white metal.

Does rose gold fade or change colour?
No. The colour comes from the alloy itself, not a plating, so it does not wear off. Unlike white gold, which is usually rhodium plated and needs replating every few years, rose gold needs no recoating at all.

Is the pear point protected?
Yes. The tip sits under a V prong, which caps the most vulnerable part of the stone in metal. A pear point left in an ordinary prong is the commonest cause of chipping, which is why we do not build them that way.

How is this different from your hidden halo pear?
This ring has no halo at all. The hidden halo version adds a ring of small diamonds under the basket, which lifts the stone and widens the head. Here the pear sits directly on the band, so the silhouette is lower and simpler.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. Same carbon structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. Only the origin differs.

Do I get a certificate?
Yes. A free IGI certificate for the centre stone comes with every order, listing colour, clarity, cut grade and carat weight.

How long does it take to make?
Production usually takes ten to fourteen working days, plus shipping time to your address.
