Several pave set strands cross over and under each other on their way to the stone, and marquise accents are dropped into the openings where the strands separate. The weave is about 3 mm across at its widest and settles back to a single band behind the finger.

Because the strands sit at different heights, the pave catches light at several angles at once rather than presenting one flat surface.

Pricing note

The woven head is approximately 3 mm across, wider than a standard 2 mm band, and uses more metal and more stones. The price shown already includes that. Nothing extra is added at checkout.

How it compares

Our pave halo split shank divides the band into two clean strands. This one uses several and lets them cross at different heights, which is a great deal busier. If the split shank appeals but you want more of it, this is the same idea taken considerably further.

Wearing and stacking

At 3 mm across the head, this ring dominates the finger. It is usually worn without a wedding band, or with a very slim plain one.

Mapple Gems is a family run workshop in Surat. Each strand is pave set before the weave is assembled, since once the strands cross there is no room to get a graver in. The marquise accents go in last, into whatever openings the finished weave actually leaves. Every ring is made after you order, usually within 14 to 18 working days.

Care

Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft brush. Brush from above and from both sides, then rinse thoroughly. A woven head has more sheltered pockets than any other design in the range. Rinse and dry with a lint free cloth.

Around eighty across the strands and openings.

Can this ring be resized
Very little, perhaps a quarter size. Order your exact size where possible.

Does the weave catch on things
The strands are rounded and polished, but the head is wide and stands proud. It is not the most practical design in the range.

Is moissanite hard enough for daily wear
Yes. Moissanite is 9.25 on the Mohs scale, second only to diamond among stones used in jewellery.

Which finger sizes are available
