All the detail on this ring is gathered at the top. On each side of the oval a small group of round moissanites sits together, three sizes among them, arranged so the largest touches the centre stone and the smallest sit above and below it. The grouping is not a straight line, which is what stops it looking like a standard three stone.

Below the clusters the band is completely plain. No pave, no milgrain, no texture, just a smooth polished shank that runs clean around the finger. That contrast is the design. A busy, sparkling head on a band with nothing on it at all.

How it compares

Our milgrain cluster design pairs the same idea with a pave shoulder and a beaded edge, which reads as antique. Leaving the band plain here makes the ring look modern and keeps it easy to live with. It is also the simplest ring in this family to clean, because there is no pave to work around.

Wearing and stacking

The clusters sit close to the band so a straight wedding band meets the shank without a large gap. With no stones on the shank there is no risk of a stacking band rubbing pave loose.

Mapple Gems is a family run workshop in Surat. Each accent is placed and set individually so the cluster sits the way it should, then the band is polished by hand. Every ring is made after you order in the metal, carat and finger size you choose, usually within 7 to 10 working days.

Care

Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft brush around the clusters. The plain band needs nothing more than a wipe with a soft cloth. Remove the ring before swimming or heavy work.

Do the clusters make the ring look bigger
Yes. They widen the head without adding a halo, so the ring covers more of the finger while the centre stone keeps its own outline.
