The pave on this ring covers exactly half the band, running from the basket down to the widest point of the finger and stopping in a clean line. The stones are micropave, smaller and more closely spaced than standard pave, which turns the shoulder into an unbroken line of light rather than a row of individual sparkles. Underneath the oval, a hidden halo wraps the full gallery on all four sides, so the ring looks almost bare from directly above and richly detailed from any other angle. Design and craftsmanship

Micropave at this scale means many more stones per centimetre, each with its own seat and its own pair of beads, and on a 1.5 mm band there is very little metal left between them. Our setters drill and cut the whole row before any stone goes in, so the spacing is fixed by the layout rather than adjusted stone by stone, then raise beads with a graver and bright cut the edge so a fine polished line frames the row. The hidden halo is set into the gallery walls before the head is joined to the shank, because once assembled there is no room to work. Stopping the pave at the halfway point is deliberate: it keeps metal where the ring takes the most contact and leaves a plain section for future resizing. Every ring is finished by hand in our Surat workshop.

How moissanite compares to a diamond

Moissanite is silicon carbide, a different material from diamond rather than a lower grade of one. At 9.25 on the Mohs scale against a diamond at 10, it is hard enough for daily wear. Its refractive index is higher than diamond, which is what makes a dense micropave row read as a continuous ribbon of light rather than separate points. This ring is sold as moissanite and is never described as a diamond.

Metal options

Available in 925 sterling silver, 10K yellow gold, 10K rose gold, 10K white gold, 14K yellow gold, 14K rose gold, 14K white gold, 18K yellow gold, 18K rose gold and 18K white gold. White gold, as photographed, hides the metal between the stones completely and gives the most seamless line. Yellow and rose gold outline every stone and make the pave read as a warm sparkling stripe. For a band this fine we recommend 14K for everyday wear, and 925 sterling silver as the most affordable option, though it is softer and best kept for lighter wear.

Ring size

Every ring is made to your finger size, so choose your size at checkout. We make US sizes 3 through 13, including half sizes. The lower half of the band is deliberately plain so the ring can be resized later without disturbing the pave.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a moissanite ring or a diamond ring?
It is a moissanite engagement ring. The centre stone, the micropave and the hidden halo are all lab created moissanite. We never describe it as a diamond.

What does half coverage mean?
The accent stones cover the top half of the band and stop in a clean line at the widest part of the finger. The bottom half stays plain, which is stronger against daily contact and simpler to resize.

How is this different from your petite pave hidden halo ring?
That ring uses larger French set pave on a 1.7 mm band with the halo set into the sides of the basket. This one uses finer micropave on a 1.5 mm band with the hidden halo running around the whole gallery, so it reads finer and brighter.

Is micropave harder to look after?
Small stones need cleaning more often because dust collects between them, and the beads should be checked once a year. Beyond that it wears normally, and we include a lifetime setting check.

Is a 1.5 mm band strong enough?
Yes in 14K or 18K gold with normal care. If you work with your hands or want extra reassurance we can make the same design at 1.8 or 2 mm.

Will a wedding band sit flush?
Yes. The gallery is low and the shank straight, so a fine matching band sits neatly beside it with no gap.

Does the hidden halo show?
Not from above. It appears in profile and from the side, and it reflects light up into the pavilion of the oval.

How do I clean it?
Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush, working along the pave row and around the gallery, then rinse and pat dry. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners at home, since vibration is the usual cause of loosened beads.

How long does it take to make?
Production usually takes ten to fourteen working days, plus shipping time. Every ring is made only after it is ordered.
