The largest rounds tuck against the centre oval, smaller ones fill the spaces above and below them, and a pear finishes each side pointing out along the band. Because the sizes step down and the stones sit at different heights, the arrangement looks scattered rather than lined up, like light caught on water. Design and craftsmanship

Graduated clusters are laid out stone by stone, not from a single template. Our setters start with the two largest rounds against the girdle of the oval, then work outward, choosing each following stone so the gaps stay even as the sizes shrink. The pear at the end of each side is angled slightly toward the finger so the cluster tapers into the band instead of stopping abruptly. Prongs are kept short and rounded so the metal reads as small bright dots between stones. The result only looks casual, and it takes considerably longer at the bench than a uniform row. Every ring is hand finished by our workshop in Surat.

How moissanite compares to a diamond

Moissanite is silicon carbide, a different material from diamond rather than a lower grade of one. It sits at 9.25 on the Mohs scale against a diamond at 10, hard enough for everyday wear. Its refractive index is higher, so it returns more coloured fire, and a spray of many small stones in mixed sizes shows this particularly well because each one flashes independently as your hand moves. This ring is sold as moissanite and is never described as a diamond.

Metal options

Available in 925 sterling silver, 10K yellow gold, 10K rose gold, 10K white gold, 14K yellow gold, 14K rose gold, 14K white gold, 18K yellow gold, 18K rose gold and 18K white gold. Yellow gold, as photographed, separates each accent with a warm outline and emphasises the scattered layout. White gold lets the cluster merge into one broad field of light. Rose gold sits between the two. For daily wear 14K is harder than 18K and holds many small prongs better over time, and 925 sterling silver is the most affordable way to try the design.

Ring size

Every ring is made to your finger size, so choose your size at checkout. We make US sizes 3 through 13, including half sizes. The lower half of the band is plain, so resizing later is straightforward and does not disturb the cluster.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a moissanite ring or a diamond ring?
It is a moissanite engagement ring. The centre stone and all twelve accents are lab created moissanite, and the ring is sold as moissanite. We never describe it as a diamond.

What does graduated mean here?
The accent stones step down in size as they move away from the centre. Graduating them this way makes the setting look wider at the head and taper naturally into the band.

How is this different from your pear and round cluster ring?
That design uses three larger accents per side in a clear arrangement. This one uses six smaller stones per side in mixed sizes, so the effect is denser, softer and less symmetrical.

Do the small stones fall out easily?
No. Each is held in its own prongs cut into the seat, the same method used for larger stones. We recommend a prong check once a year, which we do free of charge.

Will a wedding band sit flush?
Not fully. The pears run down onto the shank, so a straight band meets them at an angle. A contoured band nests properly, and we can make one to match your ring.

Which centre size suits this setting?
All four work well. A 2 or 3 carat oval keeps the cluster as an equal part of the design, while 4 and 5 carat make the oval the clear focus with the cluster as a frame.

Does moissanite lose its sparkle?
No. The brilliance comes from the material itself, not a coating, so a clean will always bring it back.

How do I clean it?
Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush, paying attention to the gaps between the small stones where lotion collects. Rinse well and dry with a lint free cloth.

How long does it take to make?
Production usually takes ten to fourteen working days, plus shipping time. Every ring is set only after it is ordered.
