Oval Cut Lab Grown Diamond Ring on a Scattered Diamond Station Band

An oval lab grown diamond in four claws on a fine band carrying individual round diamonds set at intervals, each held in its own tiny claw setting with polished metal between them.

This is the opposite approach to pave. Pave fills the shoulder with as many stones as will fit and reads as a solid line of light. A station band sets a handful of larger stones with clear gaps, and the gaps are the design. Each station is big enough to throw its own distinct flash rather than merging into its neighbours, so as the hand moves the band gives four or five separate points of light instead of one continuous glow, and the polished metal between them stays visible as a bright wire. The spacing widens slightly toward the back of the ring, which makes the shoulders look as though they are gathering toward the centre stone. It also uses far fewer stones than pave for a similar visual weight, which keeps the band light and easy to wear next to another ring.

Band details

The band is a fine wire that swells slightly at each station and returns to full section between them. The back is plain and the inside is comfort rounded.

Choose 925 sterling silver, or 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Every metal is fully hallmarked. Both white gold and rose gold are shown in the photographs, and the stations read more sharply against the warm metal.

The stations stand slightly proud of the shank, so a straight band will touch at those points. We can shape a matching band if you want the two flush.

Can this ring be resized
Yes. The back of the band is plain.

How long does the ring take to make
