An oval cut lab grown diamond in six claws with a small pear cut diamond set close against each shoulder, on a slim band whose underside is notched so a wedding ring nests against it without a gap, and whose gallery is cut into a row of open arches.

This is a three stone silhouette scaled down to solitaire proportions. The pears are deliberately modest, roughly a quarter the width of the centre stone, and they are set tight against the claws with almost no metal between them and the oval. At that scale they stop being side stones and become part of the outline of the head, so the ring reads as a single elongated shape rather than as three separate diamonds. Underneath, the gallery is not a plain wall. It is pierced into a row of small arches that run beneath both the centre stone and the pears, which lightens the head, lets light into all three pavilions from the side, and gives the ring a decorated underside that only shows when the hand turns. The shank carries the other practical detail. Both shoulders are hollowed on the underside into a shallow perfect fit notch, so a straight wedding band slides into that recess and finishes flush rather than stopping short against the head. Worn as a pair the two rings read as one continuous object from the side.

Band details

The shank is slim and round in section, polished bright and unset. The underside of both shoulders is scooped into a perfect fit notch so a straight wedding band sits flush on either side. Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond
Yes. It has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same optical behaviour as a mined diamond, and it is graded on the same scales by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the center stone is included at no extra charge.

Is this a three stone ring
Not really. The pears are about a quarter the width of the centre stone, so they extend the outline of the head rather than standing as side stones in their own right. If you want a true three stone we can scale them up.

What does perfect fit mean
The underside of each shoulder is hollowed into a shallow notch, so a straight wedding band slides into that recess and finishes flush against the engagement ring instead of leaving a gap.

Do I have to buy your wedding band
No. The notch accepts any straight band of ordinary width. We make a matching one so the metal and finish agree, but it is not required.

What is the arched gallery for
It lightens the head, lets light reach the pavilions of all three stones from the side, and gives the underside of the ring something to look at when the hand turns.

Can this ring be resized
Yes, by two or three sizes, because the shank carries no stones. The notch is reformed as part of the work.

How long does the ring take to make
The gallery is pierced by hand and the three stones set individually, so allow sixteen to twenty working days before dispatch.
