An oval cut lab grown diamond in a six claw head, flanked on each shoulder by a small cluster of one pear cut and two round brilliant diamonds, set on a slim polished band that is otherwise left completely plain.

Most accent rings run stones in a line along the shank. This one does not. The accents stop after about eight millimetres and the rest of the band is bare polished metal, which is a deliberate decision rather than an economy. A continuous row of pave draws the eye around the finger and competes with the centre stone for attention. A short cluster that ends abruptly does the opposite. It frames the oval, then gets out of the way, so the eye returns to the middle and stays there. The cluster itself is built from two different cuts. The pear sits furthest out with its point turned away from the centre, and two rounds fill the space between it and the claws, one high and one low. That staggering is what stops the group reading as a straight line of three. Look at the ring from the side and there is a further detail that does not show face up, a small cluster of rounds set into the gallery beneath the head, visible only when the hand is turned. The band is round in section rather than knife edged, and it tapers slightly toward the back so the shoulders look substantial without the ring feeling heavy.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond
Yes. It has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same optical behaviour as a mined diamond, and it is graded on the same scales by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the center stone is included at no extra charge.

Why do the accents stop rather than run round the band
A short cluster frames the oval and then releases the eye. A full row of pave pulls attention around the finger and makes the centre stone look smaller than it is.

What is the cluster underneath the head
A small group of round brilliants set into the gallery. It is invisible face up and shows only when the hand turns, which is why it is often called a surprise or secret detail.

Will a plain band scratch
Polished metal picks up fine surface marks with daily wear on any ring. We repolish it free of charge for life, and most owners find the patina settles into an even soft sheen after the first year.

Does this ring sit flush with a wedding band
Yes. The shank is straight and the head is set high enough that a plain or pave band meets it without a gap.

Can this ring be resized
Yes, comfortably by two or three sizes in either direction, because the accents sit above the shoulders and the rest of the shank is plain.

How long does the ring take to make
