An oval cut lab grown diamond in six claws with a wide wing of accents on each shoulder, built from vertical pairs of round brilliants alternating with single marquise stones, the whole group graduating down in size as it runs outward along the finger.

The structure repeats rather than scatters, and that is what gives this ring its architecture. Against each side of the head sits a pair of round brilliants set one above the other. Beyond that pair, a single marquise lies flat along the finger. Beyond the marquise, another vertical pair of rounds, then another marquise, each unit slightly smaller than the one before it. So the shoulder is not a row and it is not a random cluster. It is a repeating module, tall then long then tall then long, shrinking as it goes, and the eye reads it as a wing folding away from the centre stone. Setting the rounds in vertical pairs rather than side by side is what makes the wings deep enough to matter. A single line of accents would leave the head sitting on a thin bright stripe. Stacked pairs fill the whole depth of the shoulder, so from the side the oval appears to be carried on a substantial bank of diamond rather than perched on a wire. Past the last marquise the shank drops away to a plain polished band with nothing on it.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond
Yes. It has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same optical behaviour as a mined diamond, and it is graded on the same scales by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the center stone is included at no extra charge.

Why are the round accents in vertical pairs

Is the pattern repeated or random

How many accents does the ring carry

Will the marquise points snag
No. Each point sits under a claw rather than standing exposed at the edge of the shoulder.

Can this ring be resized
Within about one size using the plain section at the back. Larger changes disturb the spacing of the wings, so we prefer to remake the shank.

How long does the ring take to make
Every accent is set individually at its own height and angle, so allow twenty to twenty four working days before dispatch.
