An oval cut lab grown diamond held in four fine bead tipped claws, lifted high on four sweeping legs above a heavy rounded comfort fit shank, with a pavé set hidden halo wrapping the underside of the stone where only the wearer sees it.

From directly above this looks like the plainest ring we make. There is a big oval, four small claws, and a smooth band, and nothing else interrupts it. Everything interesting happens in profile. The head sits on four legs that flare outward as they rise, lifting the stone well clear of the finger and leaving a genuinely open gallery beneath, and it is on the outside wall of that raised collar that the hidden halo runs, a continuous line of small round brilliants following the full oval outline. Because the collar is tall the halo is not tucked away in shadow either. It catches light from below the stone and throws it upward through the pavilion, which is what makes the centre stone look brighter than a bare four claw solitaire of the same weight. The shank is left completely plain and deliberately substantial, half round in section with a domed outer face and a rounded comfort fit interior, so it balances the weight of the raised head and sits solidly on the finger. No pavé on the band, no engraving, no milgrain. All of the detail is concentrated in the one place a stranger will never see it.

Band details

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond
Yes. It has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same optical behaviour as a mined diamond, and it is graded on the same scales by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the center stone is included at no extra charge.

What is a hidden halo
A row of small diamonds set around the outside of the collar beneath the centre stone rather than around its outline on top. It is invisible from above and only appears when the ring is seen from the side.

Does a hidden halo make the diamond look bigger
Not wider, but noticeably brighter. On a tall collar like this one the halo sits high enough to bounce light up through the pavilion, so the centre stone reads livelier than a bare four claw solitaire of the same weight.

How is this different from your other hidden halo rings
Our other hidden halo designs use a crossover shank, a fine wire band, a notched perfect fit shank or a split cathedral. This one pairs the hidden halo with a deliberately heavy plain half round comfort fit band and a tall open four leg gallery.

Why is the band so substantial
A raised head needs weight beneath it or the ring rocks on the finger. A domed half round shank balances the head and makes the ring sit still while you wear it.

Can this ring be resized
Yes, comfortably. There is no pavé or pattern on the shank, so it resizes several sizes in either direction without disturbing anything.

How long does the ring take to make
