An oval cut lab grown diamond is held in four slim claws above a basket that is completely wrapped in micro pave. That pave is the hidden halo, invisible from directly above but clearly there whenever the hand turns, so the ring keeps the clean outline of a solitaire while gaining a band of light under the stone. The shank is deliberately fine and carries a small number of round accent diamonds spaced along the shoulders rather than a continuous pave line. The gaps between them let the metal show, which keeps the band delicate and makes the oval look larger by contrast.

Band details

The shank is a fine round wire, narrower than most engagement bands, which is what makes the centre stone read as generous. Round accent diamonds are claw set at intervals along the top of each shoulder with polished metal between them. The lower half of the band is plain, so the ring is comfortable against neighbouring fingers and simple to resize.

Metal options

Choose 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating, or solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Yellow gold gives the warm contrast against the white stone shown in the photographs. White gold, rhodium finished, makes the accents and the hidden halo merge into the centre stone. Rose gold gives the slim band a softer line. Every metal is hallmarked and every carat weight is available in every metal.

Is the centre stone a real diamond
Yes. A lab grown diamond is chemically, physically and optically identical to a mined diamond and is graded on the same scale by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the centre stone is included at no extra cost with every order.

What does a hidden halo actually do
It lifts the centre stone slightly and adds a line of light under the girdle. From above the outline is unchanged, so you keep a solitaire silhouette with more sparkle in profile.

Will a slim band bend
In 14K or 18K gold, no. We thicken the shank slightly under the head for 4 and 5 carat centre stones so the setting stays rigid without changing the look from above.

Can I wear a wedding band beside it
Yes. The base of the shank is straight and plain, so a plain or pave band sits flush on either side.

Why do ovals look bigger than rounds
An oval spreads its weight along the finger rather than into depth, so for the same carat weight it presents a larger face up area and lengthens the finger.
