A two piece bridal set built around a climbing vine. The engagement ring holds a marquise cut lab grown diamond set east to west across the finger, with small round and marquise diamonds scattered along thin curving stems that wind up toward the stone from both sides. The wedding band repeats the same vine, contoured so it curves around the base of the centre stone and interlocks with the stems on the engagement ring rather than sitting flat beside it. Worn together the two rings do not look like a ring and a band. They look like one growing thing that happens to have a diamond at its centre. Both rings are included in the price. What is included

Two rings. The engagement ring with the certified marquise centre stone and vine accents, and the matching contoured vine wedding band. Both are made in the same metal and to the same finger size, and both are included in the price shown.

Accent stones and bands

Round and marquise cut lab grown diamonds are set along thin curving stems that rise toward the centre stone from both shoulders, spaced irregularly like leaves on a branch. The wedding band carries the same vine and is contoured to curve around the base of the centre stone so the two rings nest together.

Metal options

Available in 925 sterling silver, 10K yellow gold, 10K rose gold, 10K white gold, 14K yellow gold, 14K rose gold, 14K white gold, 18K yellow gold, 18K rose gold and 18K white gold. Both rings are made in the metal you choose. Yellow gold, as photographed, makes the stems read most clearly as growing metal. White gold and sterling silver turn the vine into a frost pattern. Rose gold is the softest.

Ring size

Both rings are made to your finger size, so choose your size at checkout. The contoured band is shaped to a specific size and curve, so please order carefully. Resizing is possible but the vine has to be reshaped. Ask us for a free size guide if you are unsure.

Custom orders

We can supply either ring alone, make the wedding band straight instead of contoured, set the marquise north to south along the finger, or change the centre to pear or oval. Are both rings included?
Yes. The price shown covers the engagement ring and the contoured vine wedding band together, in the metal and carat weight you select.

What is a contoured band?
A wedding band shaped with a curve rather than made as a straight circle, so it fits around the base of the centre stone instead of leaving a gap beneath it. With an east west marquise a straight band would sit well away from the stone.

Why set the marquise east to west?
Turned across the finger the stone fills the full width of the hand and reads as a bold horizontal shape. It is also more comfortable, because the points sit clear of the knuckle rather than running over it.

Are the points of the marquise protected?
Yes. A V shaped claw caps each point and takes any knock before the diamond does.

Can the vine band be worn alone?
Yes, though it is contoured so it reads as a curved band. Many people wear it on the other hand or stacked with a straight band.

Do I get a certificate?
Yes. A free IGI certificate for the centre stone comes with every order, listing colour, clarity, cut and carat weight.

Is it practical for daily wear?
Yes with normal care. The accents sit low along the stems and each is individually set. We offer a lifetime prong and pave check so anything that loosens can be tightened.
