On a three stone ring the metal between the stones is visible, so the colour affects how continuous the line looks. White gold makes the three ovals read almost as one bar of light. Yellow and rose gold separate them into three distinct stones. For everyday wear 14K is harder than 18K and better at holding three separate heads in alignment.

Does the carat option cover all three stones?
The carat you select applies to the centre stone. The two side ovals are scaled proportionally to it, so a larger centre gives you larger sides and the ring keeps its proportions at every size.

Why all ovals rather than mixed shapes?
Consistency. Matching the side stones to the centre keeps one unbroken line along the finger. Mixed shapes, like oval with pear or trilliant sides, create contrast and draw attention to the join instead. Both are valid, and we build both.

How does this differ from your other oval three stone rings?
