An oval cut lab grown diamond on a band set with two different accent shapes: small marquise stones alternating with round brilliants, spaced along the shank rather than packed together. Mixing shapes on the band is the point of this design. The marquise accents are pointed and directional, the rounds are soft and even, and alternating them gives the band a pattern and a rhythm that a run of identical pave stones cannot produce. It is a more decorative choice than plain spaced pave, and it reads as designed rather than standard. E colour, VVS2 clarity throughout, free IGI certificate for the centre diamond. Metal options

Available in 925 sterling silver, 10K yellow gold, 10K rose gold, 10K white gold, 14K yellow gold, 14K rose gold, 14K white gold, 18K yellow gold, 18K rose gold and 18K white gold. This design depends on being able to see the individual accent shapes, so metal contrast matters. Yellow and rose gold outline each marquise and round separately and make the alternating pattern obvious. In white gold the accents blend toward one continuous line and the pattern is subtler. For everyday wear 14K is harder than 18K.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from your other spaced accent oval rings?
Both of those use round accents only. One has a hidden halo with distance pave, one is the bubble band with no halo. This ring alternates marquise with round, so the band has a two shape pattern rather than a row of matching dots. If you want the simpler look, buy one of those instead.

Do marquise accents catch on things?
They have points, so they need to be set properly with the tips protected. Set well they sit flush and behave like any other accent. This is a reason to have the settings checked at service, which we do free for life.

Does the carat apply to the accents?
No, the carat you select is the centre stone. The accent stones stay proportionate to the design.

What is the bow tie in an oval?
A faint dark band across the centre of the stone. Every oval shows some. We select for excellent cut and symmetry to keep it minimal.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. Same carbon structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. Only the origin differs.

Do I get a certificate?
Yes. A free IGI certificate for the centre stone comes with every order, listing colour, clarity, cut grade and carat weight.

How long does it take to make?
Production usually takes ten to fourteen working days, plus shipping time to your address.
