An oval cut lab grown diamond over a hidden halo, on a band set with distance pave. Distance pave means the small round accents are spaced along the shank with polished metal left between them, rather than packed shoulder to shoulder the way conventional pave is. The effect is a rhythm of individual points of light instead of one continuous glittering line, and it gives the band a lighter, more deliberate look while still carrying diamonds. Combined with the hidden halo under the basket, you get sparkle in two places without the ring becoming busy. E colour, VVS2 clarity throughout, free IGI certificate for the centre diamond. Metal options

Available in 925 sterling silver, 10K yellow gold, 10K rose gold, 10K white gold, 14K yellow gold, 14K rose gold, 14K white gold, 18K yellow gold, 18K rose gold and 18K white gold. Distance pave depends on contrast to work, because the whole point is that you see metal between the stones. Yellow and rose gold make that spacing obvious and give the band its rhythm. In white gold the gaps close visually and the band reads closer to conventional pave. For everyday wear 14K is harder than 18K.

Frequently asked questions

What is distance pave?
Small accent diamonds set individually with visible metal between them, rather than packed tightly. It is sometimes called spaced or floating pave. Fewer stones than full pave, and a very different look.

How is this different from your oval bubble band ring?
The bubble band has spaced round accents but no halo at all. This one adds a hidden halo under the basket, so the stone sits slightly higher and gains a line of light in profile. If you want the spaced band without the halo, buy that one instead.

Is spaced pave easier to look after than full pave?
Yes, in practice. Fewer stones means fewer settings to check, and the gaps make it far easier to clean around each accent properly.

What is the bow tie in an oval?
A faint dark band across the middle of the stone. Every oval shows some. We select for excellent cut and symmetry to keep it minimal.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. Same carbon structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. Only the origin differs.

Do I get a certificate?
Yes. A free IGI certificate for the centre stone comes with every order, listing colour, clarity, cut grade and carat weight.

How long does it take to make?
Production usually takes ten to fourteen working days, plus shipping time to your address.
