This ring takes its shape from a growing vine. The shank rises from the base of the finger as a single fine stem, bends once at the shoulder and carries two tapered marquise accent diamonds like leaves before opening into the head, where a marquise cut lab grown diamond is claw set above a pave hidden halo. Nothing about the outline is symmetrical in the strict sense, and that is deliberate. Seen from above the accents lead the eye into the centre stone from both sides. Seen from the side the stem curves away in one continuous line, so the ring never looks like a stone dropped onto a band.

Band details

The stem of the shank is a slim polished wire that tapers as it climbs towards the head, so the band is at its narrowest where it meets the setting. Two marquise accent diamonds are claw set on each shoulder at an angle, giving the leaf effect. Micro pave runs around the basket beneath the centre stone as a hidden halo, visible from the side and from close above. The lower half of the shank is left plain and rounded for comfort.

Metal options

Choose 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating, or solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Yellow gold is the natural choice for the vine motif and is what is shown in the photographs. Rose gold gives a softer botanical feel. White gold, rhodium finished, turns the design into something cooler and more architectural. Every metal is hallmarked and every carat weight is available in every metal.

Is the centre stone a real diamond
Yes. A lab grown diamond is chemically, physically and optically identical to a mined diamond and is graded on the same scale by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the centre stone is included at no extra cost with every order.

Which way should the marquise point
Most customers wear it pointing along the finger, which lengthens the hand. We can also set it east west across the finger if you prefer, at no extra cost.

Are the points of the marquise protected
Yes. The two tips are the most vulnerable part of any marquise, so each one is held under a prong that wraps over the point rather than sitting beside it.

Can I wear a wedding band beside it
A contoured band will follow the curve of the stem exactly. A straight band will sit close on one side. We can make either to match your ring.

Will the vine shape catch on things
No. Every curve is polished smooth and the accent stones sit low against the metal, so there are no raised edges.

How long does it take to make
Made to order rings usually leave our workshop within 10 to 14 working days. We confirm the date by email once your size is set.
