Small marquises lie along the shank pointing toward the centre, with a round diamond between each pair, and every stone is individually claw set with clear polished metal in the gaps. The eye reads a rhythm rather than a solid line, and because the marquise accents echo the centre it looks like one shape stated at several scales instead of a big stone with unrelated decoration beside it. Accent stones and band

Marquise cut and round brilliant lab grown diamonds alternate down both sides of the band, each individually claw set with polished metal visible between them. The marquise accents lie along the shank pointing toward the centre. A row of pave is hidden inside the basket and the lower shank is plain.

Frequently asked questions

Why alternate two shapes?
Because a single repeated shape reads as a strip. Alternating marquise and round gives the band a rhythm, and the marquise accents echo the centre stone so the whole ring looks like one idea rather than two.

How is this different from pave?
Pave packs tiny stones together so the metal disappears. Here each accent is separately claw set and larger, with polished gold clearly visible between them.

Why six claws on the centre?
A marquise has two sharp points that chip more easily than the rest of the stone. Each gets a V shaped claw, and four more hold the belly so the stone cannot rotate.

What is a hidden halo?
A row of small diamonds set into the basket beneath the centre stone, facing outward. Invisible from above, it lights the profile view.

Does a marquise look larger than other shapes?
Yes, it has the greatest surface area per carat of any common diamond shape.

Do I get a certificate?
Yes. A free IGI certificate for the centre stone comes with every order, listing colour, clarity, cut and carat weight.

Are individually set accents secure?
Each has its own claws rather than sharing beads with neighbours, which makes them easier to inspect and tighten. We offer a lifetime prong check.
