A thin round band with accents set one at a time along it, alternating marquise and round, each with a short run of bare polished metal on either side. Nothing is crowded. You see the individual stones rather than a continuous line, and the gaps let the metal colour come through.

The accents run about two thirds of the way down each shoulder and stop, leaving the lower half of the band plain.

How it compares

Our alternating marquise and round band closes the stones up shoulder to shoulder on a wider shank, so the run reads as one bright line. This ring does the opposite: fewer stones, wider gaps, thinner band. It costs less, sits lighter on the finger, and lets the metal itself be part of the look. Choose this one if you want the centre stone to stay clearly the largest thing on the ring.

On a slim band the centre stone carries almost all the visual weight. An emerald cut spreads wide for its carat weight, so it looks generous above a narrow shank without needing extra height.

Care

Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft brush. The open spacing makes this one of the easier designs to keep clean. Rinse and dry with a lint free cloth.

Fourteen in total, seven to each side.

Is a 1.8 mm band too thin for daily wear
No. It is a common width for engagement rings and holds a centre stone up to 5 carat comfortably. If you work with your hands and want more metal, our wider band designs are a better fit.

Can this ring be resized
Yes, by one to two sizes in either direction, at the plain back of the band.

Is moissanite hard enough for daily wear
Yes. Moissanite is 9.25 on the Mohs scale, second only to diamond among stones used in jewellery.
