Emerald Cut Moissanite Full Coverage Pave Hidden Halo Engagement Ring

The pave on this ring does not stop. It runs from the head, down both shoulders, around the back and up the other side, so there is no plain metal anywhere on the shank. Turn the ring over and the underside is set as densely as the top.

Under the centre stone a hidden halo runs around the basket, edged in fine milgrain beading that catches light from the side even before the stones do.

How it compares

Both our other pave emeralds stop the row about three quarters of the way round and leave plain metal at the back. This one does not, which is the brightest option in the range and also the least practical to alter later. Choose it if you want the ring to sparkle from every angle including from underneath.

Wearing and stacking

Because there is no bare metal, a wedding band will sit against set stones rather than against plain gold. A band with a slightly rounded edge is kinder to it than a flat one.

A fully set band cannot be resized in the normal way. We make each ring to the size you order, so please measure carefully or ask us to send a free plastic sizer first. If the size is wrong later, the ring has to be remade rather than stretched or cut.

Mapple Gems is a family run workshop in Surat. Setting all the way round means the band is set in two halves and joined last, because a fully set shank cannot be held in a clamp without risking the stones. Every ring is made after you order, usually within 14 to 18 working days.

Care

Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft brush. The underside of a fully set band collects the most, since it sits against the skin. Brush the whole circle, not just the top. Rinse and dry with a lint free cloth.

How many accent stones are there
Around fifty six around the band plus roughly twenty four in the hidden halo.

Can this ring be resized
No. A fully set band cannot be cut or stretched without disturbing the stones. Please order the correct size, and ask us for a free sizer if you are unsure.

Do stones on the underside wear out
They sit low and are protected by the metal either side. Have the row checked once a year, as with any pave.

Is moissanite hard enough for daily wear
Yes. Moissanite is 9.25 on the Mohs scale, second only to diamond among stones used in jewellery.

Which finger sizes are available
Sizes 3 to 13 including half sizes. Message us before ordering if you need something outside that range.
