An emerald cut lab grown diamond in four claws above a hidden halo, on a petite twisted vine band made of one plain strand wound against one set with pave.

The band is the smaller, finer version of the twist. Two narrow strands cross over each other repeatedly from one shoulder to the other, one left plain and polished and the other set with a continuous line of small pave diamonds, so the shank alternates between bright and smooth as it travels around the finger. Keeping both strands narrow is what makes this read as a vine rather than a rope, and it lets the twist sit against the hand without adding bulk.

Under the head a hidden halo of small round diamonds runs around the girdle of the emerald cut, edged with a fine milgrain line where the collar meets the stone. It cannot be seen when the hand is held flat, and it does two things when the ring moves. It adds light beneath a step cut that has little fire of its own, and it lifts the head just enough that a wedding band meets the twist without a gap under the stone.

Band details

Two narrow strands twisted around one another for most of the circumference, straightening as they reach the head. The interior is smoothed and comfort rounded so the twist is felt only on the outside.

Choose 925 sterling silver, or 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Every metal is fully hallmarked. White gold is shown in the photographs, where the pave strand blends into the metal and reads as a bright ribbon inside the twist.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond
Yes. It has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same optical behaviour as a mined diamond, and it is graded on the same scales by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the center stone is included at no extra charge.

What is a hidden halo
A ring of small pave diamonds set around the girdle of the centre stone but below its table, invisible from directly above and bright from every other angle.

Why is only one strand set with diamonds
Setting both would give a solid band of sparkle and the twist itself would disappear. Leaving one plain keeps the two strands readable.

Will a wedding band sit flush against a twisted ring
A straight band leaves small gaps where the twist rises. We make a matching twisted or contoured band that nests into the pattern.

Do emerald cuts show inclusions more than other shapes
Yes. The open step facets hide far less than a brilliant does, which is why we use VVS2 clarity for the centre stone.

Can this ring be resized
Within a limited range only, because the pave runs most of the way around the twist. We prefer to build it to your size, so tell us your size at checkout.

How is this different from your other twisted vine emerald cut ring
The other twist design has no halo under the stone. This one adds a milgrain edged hidden halo and uses finer strands, so the whole ring sits closer to the hand.
