An emerald cut lab grown diamond in four claws with a trillion cut diamond set point outward on each side, on a slim polished band with no other stones.

A trillion is a triangular brilliant, and its flat edge is what makes it work beside an emerald cut. The straight side sits directly against the straight side of the center stone with almost no gap, so the three stones read as one continuous block rather than as separate pieces with metal between them.

Because the trillions are brilliant cut, they return quick bright sparkle while the emerald cut gives slow wide flashes. That difference is deliberate. Matching side stones to the center cut would make the group look flat, while contrasting them gives the top of the ring two kinds of light.

The shoulders taper away from the setting so the band appears to grow out of the stones, and each trillion is held in claws at its corners where the metal is least visible from above.

Band details

A slim rounded shank, polished throughout, tapering slightly as it meets the side stones. There are no accents on the band itself, which keeps the three stones as the whole design.

Choose 925 sterling silver, or 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Every metal is fully hallmarked. White gold is finished with rhodium for a bright cool white. Yellow gold, shown here, frames the three white stones warmly and is the traditional choice for this style.

Is the center stone a real diamond
Yes. A lab grown diamond is real diamond. It has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same optical behaviour as a mined diamond. The only difference is where it was grown.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the center stone is included at no extra charge.

What is a trillion cut
A triangular diamond with brilliant faceting. Its straight edge sits flush against the center stone, which is why it is a classic partner for square and rectangular cuts.

Are the pointed corners of a trillion fragile
The points are the weakest part of any triangular stone, which is why we set them in corner claws that cover and protect each tip rather than leaving them exposed.

Can this ring be resized later
Yes. The band carries no stones, so sizing is straightforward in either direction. Your first resizing with us is free.

How is this different from your other three stone rings
Our pear side stone ring uses rounded pear shapes. Our tapered baguette rings use step cut rectangles. This design uses trillion cut triangles, which sit tightest against the center stone and give the brightest sparkle of the three.

Does a wedding band sit flush against it
Yes. The stones sit level and the band is straight, so a plain or eternity band sits neatly beside it.

How do I clean it
Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush, working under the trillions where they meet the center stone.

Which metal should I choose
Yellow or rose gold to frame the three stones in warm metal. White gold or sterling silver if you want the top of the ring to read as one unbroken block of diamond.
