Emerald Cut Lab Grown Diamond Ring with Split Shank and Pave Bow Gallery

An emerald cut lab grown diamond raised over a gallery shaped like a bow, set with pave diamonds and bordered in milgrain, carried on a plain band that splits into two arms as it reaches the setting.

The split shank is the reason the ring looks so open. Instead of one solid band meeting the head, the shank divides and each arm curves up to a different corner of the stone. That leaves a window of light on either side of the setting and makes the centre diamond appear to sit above the band rather than on it.

Between those arms sits the bow. It is pierced from solid metal, set with small round diamonds along each loop, and edged with hand raised milgrain, so the profile of the ring is decorated even though the top of the band is completely plain. The claws holding the stone are beaded as well, tiny grains of gold rather than smooth tips, which is a detail borrowed from Edwardian jewellery.

Everything visible from above stays simple. A slim polished band, four claws, and a long clear emerald cut table.

Frequently asked questions

Is the centre stone a real diamond?
Yes. A lab grown diamond has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same brilliance as a mined diamond. Only its origin differs.

Is a certificate included?
Yes. An IGI certificate for the centre stone is included at no extra cost and lists carat weight, colour, clarity, measurements and laboratory grown origin.

How is this different from your other split shank emerald cut rings?
Our other split shank designs carry pave along the split arms themselves. Here the arms are left completely plain and all the decoration is concentrated in a pierced, pave set bow between them, with beaded claws and milgrain. It is a quieter ring from above and a much more detailed one in profile.

Can the bow gallery be seen when the ring is worn?
Yes, from the side and through the openings beside the setting. It is a detail that appears as the hand moves.

Will a wedding band sit flush against it?
The shank stays straight until it splits, so a straight wedding band sits neatly against this ring on both sides.

What are beaded claws?
Instead of a smooth rounded tip, each claw ends in tiny grains of metal raised with a hand tool. They hold the stone in the same way but give the setting a softer, antique appearance.

Which carat weight suits this ring?
All four are made for it. A larger centre stone widens the split further and makes the bow gallery beneath it more visible from the side.

How do I clean it?
Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft brush, working through the openings beside the setting so the gallery stays bright. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth.

How long does it take to make?
