An emerald cut lab grown diamond in four claws on a twisting vine band, with a single larger round brilliant set like a bud on each shoulder and small pave diamonds running along the strands around them.

The two round accents are what separate this from an ordinary vine ring. Each one is large enough to read as a stone in its own right, and because they sit slightly forward of the center diamond they give the ring some of the presence of a three stone design while keeping the organic shape of a vine.

Around the buds the strands twist and carry graduated pave, with a line of milgrain along one edge so the metal does not look bare where it turns. The pave stones get smaller as the vine travels away from the head, which is what stops the band looking heavy at the back.

The center stone stays in a plain four claw setting over an open basket. An emerald cut has broad calm facets, and giving it a busy surround only works if the setting itself is quiet, which is why nothing here sits on top of the diamond.

Band details

Two strands cross and separate around the accent buds, then rejoin into a rounded shank under the finger. The palm side is plain polished metal for comfort and easy sizing.

Metal options

Choose 925 sterling silver, or 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Every metal is fully hallmarked. White gold is finished with rhodium for a bright cool white and makes the buds blend into the pave. Yellow and rose gold separate the vine from the stones.

Is the center stone a real diamond
Yes. A lab grown diamond is real diamond. It has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same optical behaviour as a mined diamond. The only difference is where it was grown.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the center stone is included at no extra charge.

Is this a three stone ring
Not strictly. The two round accents are set into the vine rather than mounted in line with the center stone, so the ring reads as a vine design with side stones rather than a formal three stone.

How large are the accent buds
They are scaled to the center stone you choose, so they stay in proportion whether you order 2 carat or 5 carat.

Can this ring be resized later
Within a size or two, using the plain metal at the base. Give us your size as accurately as you can. First resizing is free.

How is this different from your other vine rings
Our open branch ring uses marquise diamonds as leaves. Our milgrain twist ring has no larger accents at all. This design is the only one with a single substantial round diamond set as a bud on each shoulder.

Does a wedding band sit flush against it
Not flush, because the vine and the accent buds sit proud. A contoured band follows the shape and we can make one to match.

How do I clean it
Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush. Work the brush along the twist so it reaches between the strands and around the buds.

Which metal should I choose
White gold or sterling silver for one continuous bright surface. Yellow or rose gold if you want the vine to read as metal and the stones to stand out separately.
