An emerald cut lab grown diamond in four claws on a band made of two strands wound around each other, one left plain and polished, the other set with a continuous line of pave diamonds.

The twist is what carries this ring. Two strands of metal cross over each other repeatedly from one shoulder to the other, and because only one of them is set with stones, the band alternates between bright and plain as it travels around the finger. Where the diamond strand rises to the surface it catches the light, where it dips behind the plain strand the metal takes over, and the effect is a rhythm rather than a solid line of sparkle. It is the reason people call this pattern infinity, and why it reads as movement rather than decoration.

The centre stone is left completely alone. The strands untwist and straighten as they approach the head, so the four claws rise from clean metal and nothing crowds the long parallel step facets of the emerald cut. The head sits low, level with the top of the twist, and the whole ring keeps a slim profile despite carrying up to five carats.

Band details

Two rounded strands twisted around one another for most of the circumference, straightening as they reach the head. The interior is smoothed and comfort rounded so the twist is felt only on the outside of the ring.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond
Yes. It has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same optical behaviour as a mined diamond, and it is graded on the same scales by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the center stone is included at no extra charge.

Why is only one strand set with diamonds
Setting both would give a solid band of sparkle and the twist itself would disappear. Leaving one plain keeps the two strands readable and gives the band its rhythm.

Will a wedding band sit flush against a twisted ring
A straight band leaves small gaps where the twist rises. We make a matching twisted or contoured band that nests into the pattern, and we can quote for it with the ring.

What is an emerald cut
A rectangular step cut with cropped corners and long parallel facets. It has a wide open table and gives broad slow flashes of light rather than fast sparkle.

Do emerald cuts show inclusions more than other shapes
Yes. The open step facets hide far less than a brilliant does, which is why we use VVS2 clarity for the centre stone.

Can this ring be resized
Within a limited range only, because the pave runs most of the way around the twist. We prefer to build the ring to your size from the start, so tell us your size at checkout.

How is this different from your other twist rings
Others use a plain double twist with no stones, a three strand braid, or marquise leaves set into the twist. This is the one where a single continuous pave strand winds against a single plain one.
