An emerald cut lab grown diamond in four claws, with a small cluster of one marquise and three round diamonds tucked into each shoulder, on a slim polished band that carries nothing else.

Almost every accented emerald cut ring runs its side stones along the shank in a line. This one gathers them instead. On each shoulder a single marquise lies flat, pointing outward along the finger, and three tiny rounds sit against it in a loose triangle, held by fine claws with small gold beads worked in between. The whole cluster is barely wider than the shank itself, so from a step back the ring reads as a plain solitaire with a glint at each side, and only close up does the arrangement resolve into separate stones.

Keeping the accents that small is deliberate. An emerald cut of two carats and above is already a wide stone, and a busy shoulder fights it. Here the band stays narrow and completely plain from the clusters back to the finger, which lets the long parallel step facets and the broad open table of the centre stone do all the work. The gallery under the head is cut away into open arches so light reaches the pavilion from beneath, and a further round accent is set into the gallery on each side where only the wearer will find it.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond
Yes. It has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same optical behaviour as a mined diamond, and it is graded on the same scales by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the center stone is included at no extra charge.

What is an emerald cut
A rectangular step cut with cropped corners and long parallel facets. It has a wide open table and gives broad slow flashes of light rather than fast sparkle.

Why are the accents clustered instead of set along the band
A cluster reads as one small point of light at each side rather than a row, so it frames the centre stone without competing with it. It also leaves the rest of the shank plain, which suits a large step cut.

Will such a thin band be strong enough for a five carat stone
Yes. The shank thickens where it meets the head, and the gallery beneath the stone is a solid arched structure. The slimness is only at the back of the finger, where no load sits.

Can this ring be resized
Yes, easily. Everything behind the shoulder clusters is plain metal.

Do emerald cuts show inclusions more than other shapes
Yes. The open step facets hide far less than a brilliant does, which is why we use VVS2 clarity for the centre stone.

How is this different from your other accented emerald cut rings
Others run pave along the shoulders, set tapered baguettes at the sides, or add a halo. This is the only one where four small stones gather into a single cluster on each shoulder and the band stays otherwise bare.
