An emerald cut lab grown diamond in four claws on a twisted vine band, with a marquise cut diamond set as a leaf against each side of the center stone and pave running along one of the two twisting strands.

The two marquise stones do the important work here. Set point outward and angled slightly away from the emerald cut, they lengthen the head and lead the eye out into the vine, so the transition from center stone to band feels grown rather than abrupt.

Behind them the band splits into two strands that cross over one another. One is left plain and polished, the other carries a fine line of pave, and because they swap positions as they travel round the finger the ring alternates between metal and light from every angle.

Keeping the center setting plain is deliberate. An emerald cut has long calm facets, and against a busy botanical band it needs nothing on top of it to hold attention.

Band details

Two strands twist from the shoulders and rejoin into a single rounded shank under the finger. The palm side is plain, which keeps the ring comfortable and simple to size.

Choose 925 sterling silver, or 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Every metal is fully hallmarked. White gold is finished with rhodium for a bright cool white. Yellow gold, shown here, makes the vine read as a living stem with the marquise leaves growing from it.

Is the center stone a real diamond
Yes. A lab grown diamond is real diamond. It has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same optical behaviour as a mined diamond. The only difference is where it was grown.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the center stone is included at no extra charge.

Are the leaves diamonds or metal
Diamonds. Each leaf is a marquise cut lab grown diamond set into the vine beside the center stone.

Are the marquise points fragile
Each marquise is held at both tips, which is the correct way to set that shape. Protected this way they wear well.

Can this ring be resized later
Within a size or two, using the plain metal at the base. Give us your size as accurately as you can. First resizing is free.

How is this different from your other vine rings
Our round accent bud vine ring uses a single large round stone on each shoulder. Our scattered bud vine ring places accents irregularly. This design sets two marquise leaves directly against the center stone and runs pave along one strand only.

Does a wedding band sit flush against it
Not flush, because the vine and leaves sit proud. A contoured band follows the line properly and we can make one to match.

How do I clean it
Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush, brushing along the twist and around the marquise leaves.

Which metal should I choose
Yellow or rose gold for the most botanical result. White gold or sterling silver if you want the leaves and pave to read as one bright field.
