An emerald cut lab grown diamond in four claws, with a row of substantial round brilliants running down each shoulder, every pair of neighbouring stones held by a single shared prong.

These are not pave stones. They are large enough that you can see each one working on its own, and because they are set in shared prongs rather than beads, the metal between them almost disappears. What you get is a continuous run of full sized diamonds either side of the center stone rather than a fine glitter, and the ring carries far more accent weight than a pave design of the same width.

The stones graduate slightly, largest beside the head and stepping down as they travel toward the base of the finger. That taper keeps the proportions correct, because a row of identical stones on a curved band always looks heavier at the back than it does at the front.

The center setting is deliberately plain. Four claws, an open basket and nothing else, so a large emerald cut sits low with its long step cut facets fully visible between two lines of brilliance.

Band details

The diamonds cover roughly the upper half of the band and the underside stays plain polished metal. The shank is squared slightly on the outside so the stones sit level rather than rolling off the curve.

Choose 925 sterling silver, or 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Every metal is fully hallmarked. White gold is finished with rhodium for a bright cool white, which is what we photograph because it makes the accent row read as one continuous line of light.

Is the center stone a real diamond
Yes. A lab grown diamond is real diamond. It has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same optical behaviour as a mined diamond. The only difference is where it was grown.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the center stone is included at no extra charge.

How is shared prong different from pave
Pave uses tiny beads of metal raised from the surface to hold very small stones. Shared prong uses one full prong between each pair of larger stones. Shared prong holds bigger diamonds, shows less metal and gives a bolder line.

Are shared prong stones secure
Yes. Each prong is a solid piece of metal doing real structural work, which is why this setting is often chosen for larger accents. An annual check is still sensible.

Can this ring be resized later
Within a size or two. The plain underside gives a jeweller something to work with. First resizing is free.

How is this different from your other diamond band rings

Does a wedding band sit flush against it
Yes. The band is straight and the head sits low, so a plain or matching diamond band sits neatly beside it.

How do I clean it
Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush, working under the accent stones where dust gathers.

Which metal should I choose
White gold or sterling silver to keep the whole ring one bright tone. Yellow or rose gold if you want the prongs and band to frame each accent individually.
