From directly above this is a clean emerald cut lab grown diamond on a slim pave band. Look at it from the side and a small blossom appears beneath the stone, made from marquise cut diamonds set as petals around a round diamond centre.

The blossom sits inside the gallery, the open space between the head and the band, where a plain ring would show nothing but polished metal. Because the petals are set at an angle they catch light from underneath, so the area below the centre stone glows rather than reading as a dark space.

Everything above stays quiet on purpose. The centre diamond is claw set at its four corners, the table is completely clear, and the shoulders carry a single fine row of pave that runs down toward the back of the band. The result is a ring that looks restrained on the hand and rewards a closer look.

The shank is slim and tapers slightly, so it wears comfortably and pairs easily with a plain or contoured wedding band.

Is the centre stone a real diamond?
Yes. A lab grown diamond has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same brilliance as a mined diamond. Only the origin differs.

Is a certificate included?
Yes. An IGI certificate for the centre stone is included at no extra cost and lists carat weight, colour, clarity, measurements and laboratory grown origin.

How is this different from your other hidden detail emerald cut rings?
A hidden halo runs a circle of small round diamonds around the base of the stone. This ring instead places a marquise petal blossom inside the gallery, so the hidden detail is a shape rather than a ring of light, and it is only visible from the side.

Can the hidden blossom be seen when the ring is worn?
Yes, in profile and at an angle. From directly above it stays out of sight, which is the intention.

Will a wedding band sit flush against it?
Yes. The band is slim and the gallery detail sits above it, so a straight wedding band meets the ring cleanly on both sides.

Which carat weight suits this setting?
All four are made for it. A larger centre stone raises the head slightly higher, which actually makes the hidden blossom easier to see from the side.

Is an emerald cut good for everyday wear?
Yes. Its corners are cut at an angle rather than left as sharp points, and the four claws sit directly over those corners.

How do I clean it?
Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft brush. Brush up into the gallery from below so the petals stay bright, then rinse and dry with a soft cloth.
