An emerald cut lab grown diamond enclosed in a full bezel of gold that follows every edge and corner of the stone, carried on a band built from three rows, two smooth polished rails with a line of pave diamonds running between them.

A full bezel is the most protective setting there is. The metal wraps the entire girdle of the diamond, so no corner is exposed and nothing on the ring can catch. It also gives an emerald cut a strong graphic outline, because the bezel repeats the stone shape exactly, corner cut for corner cut.

The band is where the design becomes unusual. Rather than one flat surface, the shank is built as three parallel rows. The two outer rails are left plain and rounded, and the channel between them is set with round pave diamonds, so the ring shows a bright line of light framed by warm metal on both sides.

The whole ring sits low and even against the finger. There is nothing raised anywhere, which makes this one of the most practical designs we make for everyday wear.

Yellow gold, shown here, gives the strongest contrast between the bezel and a colourless diamond. White gold and 925 sterling silver make the bezel almost invisible, and rose gold gives a warmer, softer frame.

Ask for a different centre carat weight, a different colour or clarity grade, a coloured centre stone such as emerald or sapphire, plain rails with no pave, a half bezel instead of a full one, or an engraving inside the shank. Frequently asked questions

Is the centre stone a real diamond?
Yes. A lab grown diamond has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same brilliance as a mined diamond. Only the origin differs.

Is a certificate included?
Yes. An IGI certificate for the centre stone is included at no extra cost and states carat weight, colour, clarity, measurements and laboratory grown origin.

How is this different from your other bezel set emerald cut rings?
This is a full bezel, enclosing the whole stone, on a three row band with a pave line down the centre. Our half bezel design leaves both ends of the diamond open and sits on a plain slim band. This ring is more protective and considerably more decorated.

Does a full bezel make the diamond look smaller?
It covers the very edge of the stone, so the visible face is slightly smaller than in a claw setting. In exchange the bezel adds its own outline, so the ring as a whole does not look smaller on the hand.

Is this ring good for everyday wear?
It is one of the best we make. No prongs, no raised edges, and the corners of the emerald cut are fully protected by metal.

Will a wedding band sit flush against it?
Yes. The band is straight and the setting is low, so a plain wedding band sits neatly on either side.

Which carat weight suits this ring?
All four are made for it. The three row band is substantial, so larger centre stones keep the proportions balanced, though a 2 carat also looks striking framed by the bezel.

How do I clean it?
Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft brush along the pave channel. The bezel itself collects very little, so this ring stays bright with minimal effort.
