The bezel is the whole design. A continuous wall of metal wraps the girdle of the diamond and follows its cut corners, giving a crisp octagonal outline with no claws interrupting it. Because nothing sits on top of the stone, the table stays completely open and the step cut facets can be read from edge to edge, which is exactly what an emerald cut is for.

Where most bezel rings sit on a single solid shank, this one splits. Two fine wires run from the base of the finger and meet the bezel separately on each side, leaving a narrow window of air under the setting. That small gap is what stops a heavy bezel from looking heavy, and it makes the stone appear to float above the finger.

It is a modern, quiet ring, and a practical one. Nothing protrudes, nothing snags, and there is no pave to check.

Band details

The two wires rejoin into a single rounded shank at the base of the finger, so the ring is light and easy to wear while keeping enough metal for strength where it matters. The inner surface is smooth and slightly domed.

Metal options

Choose 925 sterling silver, or 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Every metal is fully hallmarked. White gold is finished with rhodium for a bright cool white. On a bezel design the metal frames the diamond directly, so yellow gold gives a warm graphic outline and white metal makes the stone look wider.

Frequently asked questions

Is the center stone a real diamond
Yes. A lab grown diamond is real diamond. It has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same optical behaviour as a mined diamond. The only difference is where it was grown.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the center stone is included at no extra charge.

Is other jewellery in the photographs included
No. The hoop earrings and the second band shown in the lifestyle photographs are styling only. You receive the emerald cut ring shown, in the metal, carat and size you select.

Is a bezel more secure than claws
Yes. The metal wall supports the girdle all the way around and covers the corners of the step cut, which are the most vulnerable points. It is the setting we recommend for daily wear and for anyone who works with their hands.

Does the bezel make the diamond look smaller
Very slightly at the edge, but the bright metal outline reads as part of the stone from a normal viewing distance, so the head usually looks larger overall.

Can this ring be resized later
Yes. The single shank at the base gives a jeweller clean metal to work with. Your first resizing with us is free.

How is this different from your other bezel rings
Our solid bezel fine band ring uses one continuous round shank. Our wide flat band bezel ring uses a broad squared band. This design is the only one where the band splits into two wires and leaves an open gap under the setting.

Does a wedding band sit flush against it
Yes. The profile is low and the edges are clean, so a plain or textured band sits neatly beside it.

How do I clean it
Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush. A bezel with an open back rinses through easily and keeps very little dirt.
