An emerald cut lab grown diamond in four claws on a band that splits at each shoulder into two separate rails, both of them fully pave set, so four rows of diamonds travel toward the center stone from the sides.

The split starts well back along the shank and opens gradually, which is what gives this ring its width at the top without making the band heavy underneath. Between the two rails there is a clean open channel of air, and that gap is important. It stops the pave reading as one solid slab and gives the shoulders a defined shape.

Every accent is bead set by hand along the curve of each rail. Because the rails are narrow, the setter works to a tight line, and any wander in the spacing would be obvious. Getting four parallel rows to stay even around a curve is the whole difficulty of this design.

The head stays plain. Four claws holding the corners of the emerald cut, with an open gallery beneath, so the step cut facets are not interrupted by anything.

Band details

The shank divides into two pave rails at the shoulders and rejoins into a single plain band under the finger. The underside is left polished and unset for comfort and easy sizing.

Choose 925 sterling silver, or 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Every metal is fully hallmarked. White gold is finished with rhodium for a bright cool white, which is how this design is photographed and what makes the four rows read as one continuous field of light.

Is the center stone a real diamond
Yes. A lab grown diamond is real diamond. It has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same optical behaviour as a mined diamond. The only difference is where it was grown.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the center stone is included at no extra charge.

How many accent diamonds does it carry
The exact count depends on your finger size and the center carat you choose, because a larger stone needs a longer split. A typical size 6 ring in this design carries well over eighty accents.

Will the pave stones fall out
Each accent sits in its own bead of metal raised from the rail by hand. Have the ring checked once a year, as with any pave design, and it will stay secure.

Can this ring be resized later
Within a size or two, using the plain section at the base. Tell us your size as accurately as you can. First resizing is free.

How is this different from your other split shank rings
Our pave split shank with marquise accents adds marquise stones at the crossing. Our flared split shank is plain polished metal. This design sets both rails with pave and keeps a clean open channel between them.

Does a wedding band sit flush against it
Yes at the base, where the band is a single shank. The split sits proud at the shoulders, which gives a stepped look with a straight band.

How do I clean it
Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush, working into the channel between the two rails where dust settles.

Which metal should I choose
White gold or sterling silver for one continuous bright surface. Yellow or rose gold if you want each row outlined separately in warm metal.
