A channel setting is a groove cut into the band with a wall of metal on each side. The baguettes drop into that groove and the walls are pressed down over their edges, which means the diamonds sit level with the surface of the band. Nothing protrudes, nothing can catch, and the row reads as a straight line of light running into the setting.

Using baguettes rather than round stones matters here. A baguette is cut with long flat facets like the centre stone, so the shoulders reflect broad flashes of light instead of fine sparkle, and the ring keeps the calm architectural character that draws people to emerald cuts in the first place.

The band is slim and smooth, plain from the end of the channel to the back, and the rounded claw tips keep the setting comfortable against the finger.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. It is the same carbon crystal with the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same optical properties as a mined diamond. Only the origin is different.

Is a certificate included?
Yes. An IGI certificate for the centre stone is included at no extra cost, listing carat weight, colour, clarity, measurements and laboratory grown origin.

How is this different from your other baguette emerald cut rings?
Our baguette eternity ring sets the stones with shared prongs all the way around the band. This ring channel sets them into the shoulders only, so the diamonds sit flush inside metal walls and the back of the band stays plain. It is smoother to wear and simpler to resize.

Are channel set stones secure?
Yes. The walls of the channel hold the whole length of each stone rather than gripping it at points, which is why channel settings are often chosen for people who are hard on their jewellery.

Will a wedding band sit flush against it?
Yes. Nothing on this ring flares outward, so a straight wedding band meets it cleanly on both sides.

Which carat weight suits this ring?
All four are made for it. The channel keeps the shoulders visually quiet, so larger centre stones sit comfortably in this design without the ring looking crowded.

Is an emerald cut suitable for daily wear?
Yes. Its corners are cut at an angle rather than left as points, and the ball tipped claws sit directly over those corners.

How do I clean it?
Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft brush along the channel. Because the stones are flush, very little dust collects. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth.
