An emerald cut lab grown diamond in four claws with a small deco cluster at each shoulder, where two tapered baguettes are stacked in a bar setting and round brilliants are placed above, below and beyond them.

This is a 1920s arrangement. Instead of a symmetrical row of accents, the shoulder is built from different cuts working together, straight baguettes providing the architecture and round stones filling the corners around them. That mixture is what makes deco jewellery look designed rather than assembled, and it is far more work to set than a single row of matched stones.

The baguettes are step cut, like the center stone, so their facets return the same broad calm light. The round accents are brilliants and add fast sparkle in the gaps. Two kinds of light on one shoulder is exactly the effect the period was after.

The band beyond the cluster is plain and polished, which stops the design becoming crowded and keeps the whole ring wearable.

Band details

A slim rounded shank, polished, carrying the clusters at the shoulders and nothing else. The underside is plain, which keeps the ring comfortable and easy to size.

Metal options

Choose 925 sterling silver, or 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Every metal is fully hallmarked. White gold is finished with rhodium for a bright cool white and is closest to original deco pieces, which were usually platinum. Yellow gold, shown here, gives a warmer modern reading of the same design.

Is the center stone a real diamond
Yes. A lab grown diamond is real diamond. It has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same optical behaviour as a mined diamond. The only difference is where it was grown.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the center stone is included at no extra charge.

Why mix baguettes and round stones
Because they do different jobs. Step cut baguettes give straight architectural lines that suit an emerald cut, and round brilliants add the quick sparkle that step cuts do not produce.

Are baguettes more fragile than round diamonds
They have straight edges rather than a curved girdle, so they are set in bars or channels rather than claws. Set correctly, as they are here, they wear perfectly well.

Can this ring be resized later
Yes. The band beyond the clusters is plain, so a jeweller can size it in either direction. Your first resizing with us is free.

How is this different from your other baguette rings
Our tapered baguette three stone rings use a single baguette on each side and nothing else. This design stacks two baguettes per side and surrounds them with round accents, so it is a cluster rather than a three stone.

Does a wedding band sit flush against it
Mostly. The clusters sit slightly proud at the shoulders, so a straight band meets the ring along the lower shank.

How do I clean it
Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush, working carefully around the baguette bars where dust collects.

Which metal should I choose
White gold or sterling silver for the most authentic deco look. Yellow or rose gold for a warmer modern version of the same design.
