An emerald cut lab grown diamond held in a full bezel and set into a wide flat band that runs at even width the whole way around the finger.

This is the most architectural ring in our emerald cut range. A bezel already frames the stone in a hard geometric outline, following the eight straight sides of the emerald cut exactly, and setting that frame into a flat band of similar width turns the whole thing into a single block of metal with a rectangle of light cut into it. There is nothing decorative anywhere. No claws, no shoulders, no taper, no accent stones. It reads as one object rather than as a stone mounted on a ring.

The practical case is the same one that has always been made for bezels. Nothing stands proud to catch on gloves, knitwear or hair, the corners of the emerald cut are fully protected by the rim, and the girdle is shielded all the way round. Underneath the head the band is cut away into a small open gallery so light still reaches the pavilion, and the interior is comfort rounded so a wide band does not grip at its edges.

Choose 925 sterling silver, or 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Every metal is fully hallmarked. Yellow gold is shown in the photographs, where the mass of the band reads most strongly against the white of the stone.

Ring size

The ring is made to your finger size. Select your size at checkout. A wide band fits more snugly than a narrow one, so if you are between sizes we usually recommend going up.

We can change the carat weight, turn the stone east to west across the finger, narrow the band, brush the surface instead of polishing it, or make a matching flat wedding band. Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond
Yes. It has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same optical behaviour as a mined diamond, and it is graded on the same scales by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate

Is a bezel more secure than claws
Yes. Nothing stands proud to be bent or snapped, the girdle is protected all the way around, and the corners of an emerald cut, its weakest points, are fully covered.

Should I size up for a wide band
Usually yes. A wide band covers more of the finger and feels tighter than a narrow one at the same measured size.

Do emerald cuts show inclusions more than other shapes
Yes. The open step facets hide far less than a brilliant does, which is why we use VVS2 clarity for the centre stone.

Will a wedding band sit flush
Yes, completely, because the bezel is set into the band rather than raised above it. Many people wear this ring alone.

Can this ring be resized
Yes, though a wide band takes more work than a narrow one. Free within the first year.

How is this different from your other bezel emerald cut ring
