Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond? Yes. A lab grown diamond has the same carbon crystal structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. The only difference is that it is grown in a laboratory rather than extracted from the earth. It is graded by the same laboratories using the same criteria.

What color and clarity are the diamonds in this ring? The pear cut center stone and both trillion side stones are E color and VVS2 clarity, so the trio reads as one continuous colourless line across the finger.

What is a trillion cut? A trillion is a triangular stone, usually with three equal sides. Cut shallow and wide it covers a lot of surface for its weight, which is why it is used so often as a side stone.

Why pair trillions with a pear? Both shapes come to a point, so they share the same language. Setting the trillions with their flat edges against the pear closes the gap that round accents would leave, and their outward points continue the line of the centre stone.

Are all the points fragile? There are seven points on this ring counting the pear tip and the corners of both trillions, and every one sits under its own prong. Set this way and worn normally they are as durable as any other cut.
