A pear cut lab grown diamond set across the finger rather than along it, on a band carved as a thin twig with small buds and diamond accents scattered along its length. Turning the pear sideways lets it follow the line of the branch instead of fighting it, and because the band is so fine the stone appears to be resting on the twig rather than mounted on a ring. Nothing about the shank repeats, so no two are identical.

Band details

The shank is carved as a fine twig, uneven in section, with small spurs and buds lifting away from the metal. The inside is left smooth and rounded so only the outer face carries the texture. Every ring is finished by hand.

Metal options

Choose 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating, or solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Yellow gold gives the warm antique reading shown in the photographs and is the natural choice for a twig band. Rose gold looks softer and more organic. White gold, rhodium finished, reads closer to silver birch or frost. Every metal is hallmarked and every carat weight is available in every metal.

Is the centre stone a real diamond
Yes. A lab grown diamond is chemically, physically and optically identical to a mined diamond and is graded on the same scale by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the centre stone is included at no extra cost with every order.

Why is the pear set sideways
So it lies along the line of the twig rather than cutting across it. Set point up on a branch design the stone tends to look like it was added afterwards. Set sideways it becomes part of the same shape.

Is the point protected
Yes. The point sits inside a V shaped claw that wraps it completely, the same protection we give any pear cut.

Will the twig texture catch on clothing
The spurs are laid close against the band and their edges are rounded and polished, so in practice they catch less than a raised claw setting.

Can I wear a wedding band beside it
A matching twig band sits best and we make one to order. A straight plain band will show small gaps where the branch is uneven.

How long does it take to make
Made to order rings usually leave our workshop within 12 to 16 working days because of the hand carving. We confirm the date by email once your size is set.
