A pear cut lab grown diamond set point up in six claws, on a shank of substantial round diamonds held in shared claws that continues around the finger rather than stopping at the shoulders. The side stones are large, not pave, so the band reads as a row of individual diamonds carrying a larger one at its centre. It is the heaviest pear setting we make and the one that suits a big centre stone best.

Band details

The shank carries diamonds continuously around the finger, with the stones sitting edge to edge and almost no metal showing between them. The rails are rounded so the band stays comfortable despite the full coverage.

Metal options

Choose 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating, or solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. White gold, rhodium finished, gives the unbroken bright circle shown in the photographs. Yellow gold marks each stone with a warm outline. Rose gold is the softest. Every metal is hallmarked and every carat weight is available in every metal.

This ring is made to order in your size. Select your size at checkout. Because the diamonds run the full circumference this design cannot be resized after it is made, so if you are unsure of your size please contact us before ordering and we will help you confirm it.

Custom orders

We can stop the diamonds at the shoulders so the ring can be resized later, set the pear east to west, use micro pave instead, or set a different centre stone shape and carat weight. Is the centre stone a real diamond
Yes. A lab grown diamond is chemically, physically and optically identical to a mined diamond and is graded on the same scale by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the centre stone is included at no extra cost with every order.

Can this ring be resized
Not once made, because the diamonds run all the way round and there is no plain metal to cut and rejoin. We can build a half set version instead if resizing matters to you.

Will the point of the pear chip
The point is the most exposed part of any pear, which is why we fit a V shaped claw that wraps it completely. With that protection it is entirely suitable for daily wear.

Are the side stones included in the carat weight shown
No. The carat weight you select refers to the centre stone. The side diamonds are supplied in a size proportioned to it.

Are the stones under my finger uncomfortable
They sit below the level of the rails and the inner edge is rounded, so the band feels smooth. Most people notice no difference from a plain band after a few days.

How long does it take to make
Made to order rings usually leave our workshop within 12 to 16 working days. We confirm the date by email once your size is set.

A lab grown diamond is grown from a diamond seed under the same heat and pressure conditions that create diamonds in the earth.
