A pear cut lab grown diamond is set point upward with a claw wrapping the tip, and on each shoulder a small marquise accent is set on the diagonal like a leaf growing from the stem. The band itself is a fine plain wire, so the accents read as isolated details rather than part of a continuous line. It is a botanical idea used sparingly. There are only two accent stones on the whole ring, and their placement does more to soften the pear outline than a row of pave would.

Band details

The shank is a fine polished round wire, plain apart from the two leaf accents on the shoulders. That restraint keeps the ring light on the finger and lets the pear shape stay the focus. The lower half of the band is entirely plain, which makes resizing straightforward and keeps the ring comfortable for daily wear.

Metal options

Choose 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating, or solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. White gold, rhodium finished, gives the cool bright look shown in the photographs and makes the leaf accents merge into the centre stone. Yellow gold is the natural choice for a botanical motif. Which way should the pear point
Most people wear the point toward the fingertip, which lengthens the hand. Point down toward the wrist is also correct and slightly less common. We can set it either way at no extra cost.

Is the point of a pear fragile
It is the thinnest part of the stone, which is why we always cover it with a claw that wraps over the tip rather than sitting beside it.

Will the leaf accents catch on clothing
No. Each marquise accent sits low against the band with its points protected by claws, and every claw is polished smooth by hand.

Can I wear a wedding band beside it
Yes. The base of the shank is straight and plain, so a plain band sits flush on either side with no gap.
