A pear cut lab grown diamond held in a full bezel, a continuous rim of metal wrapped around the entire outline of the stone including the point, on a shank set with micro pave. There are no claws anywhere on this ring. The bezel gives a clean unbroken edge, protects the most vulnerable part of a pear, and outlines the teardrop shape in metal so it reads as a deliberate silhouette rather than a stone sitting on a band.

Band details

The shank carries a single row of micro pave diamonds along both shoulders, held by shared claws raised from the metal, stopping before the base of the finger. The underside is plain and rounded. The pave is deliberately fine so it does not compete with the solid metal of the bezel.

Metal options

Choose 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating, or solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Yellow gold gives the strong warm outline shown in the photographs, which is the whole point of a bezel and the most popular choice for this design. Rose gold gives a softer edge. White gold, rhodium finished, makes the rim almost disappear against the stone. Every metal is hallmarked and every carat weight is available in every metal.

Is the centre stone a real diamond
Yes. A lab grown diamond is chemically, physically and optically identical to a mined diamond and is graded on the same scale by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the centre stone is included at no extra cost with every order.

Does a bezel make the diamond sparkle less
Slightly less light enters from the sides, but a well made bezel is cut thin and the pavilion is left open underneath, so the difference is small. What you gain is protection and a cleaner outline.

Why is a bezel good for a pear cut
The point of a pear is the part most likely to chip. A full bezel covers it completely with metal, which makes this one of the most practical pear settings for everyday wear.

Will it catch on clothing
No. A bezel has no raised claws, which makes it one of the smoothest settings available and a common choice for people who work with their hands.
