Here each accent is isolated in polished metal, so you see individual points of sparkle separated by gold, and the band stays visually light instead of becoming a second focal point. Station setting depends on contrast between stone and metal, so the metal colour matters more here than on a fully pave band. Yellow and rose gold make each accent stand out sharply as a separate point of light. White gold gives a subtler, more continuous effect. For daily wear 14K is harder than 18K and keeps the polished sections between stones looking clean for longer.

What is a station set or distance set band?
It means the small diamonds are spaced apart along the band with polished metal between them, rather than set edge to edge as in pave. It gives individual points of sparkle and keeps the band looking slim.

Is it easier to clean than pave?
Yes, noticeably. There are far fewer settings for dust and soap to collect in, and the open metal between stones wipes clean easily, which makes it a practical choice for everyday wear.

Can this ring be resized?
More easily than a pave band. The gaps between accent stones give a jeweller plain metal to work with, so adjustments are straightforward. We still recommend ordering your exact size and we make it to fit.

Why does this suit a pear cut?
A pear draws the eye along its length to the point. A busy pave band competes with that line, while spaced stones lead the eye toward the centre without crowding it.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
