An oval cut lab grown diamond held in four claws above a hidden halo, on the narrowest pave band we make. The shank is barely wider than the stones set into it, which is the whole idea. A very fine band exaggerates the size of the centre stone more effectively than any halo can, and the hidden halo underneath adds height so the oval does not sit flat against the finger. From above there is almost nothing to see except diamond.

Band details

The shank is the slimmest profile in our range, with a single fine pave row along each shoulder stopping before the base of the finger. The underside is plain and rounded. We thicken the wall under the basket so the ring stays strong despite the narrow section.

Metal options

Choose 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating, or solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Yellow gold gives the warm reading shown in the photographs and outlines the fine pave clearly. Rose gold is softer. White gold, rhodium finished, blends the pave, the hidden halo and the centre stone into one field of light. Every metal is hallmarked and every carat weight is available in every metal.

Is the centre stone a real diamond
Yes. A lab grown diamond is chemically, physically and optically identical to a mined diamond and is graded on the same scale by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the centre stone is included at no extra cost with every order.

Does a thinner band really make the stone look bigger
Yes, and it is the cheapest way to do it. The eye judges the diamond against the width of the metal next to it, so a narrower band makes the same stone read noticeably larger.

Is an ultra thin band durable
Ours are, because the section is thickened where the load is carried under the setting. For 4 and 5 carat centres we recommend 14K or 18K gold rather than sterling silver.

Will the pave stones fall out
Each stone is held by claws raised from the metal, not glued. We recommend a check every 12 to 18 months, which we do free of charge.

Can I wear a wedding band beside it
Yes. The straight shank sits flush against a plain or pave band, and the narrow profile means a matching slim band pairs neatly rather than overpowering it.

How long does it take to make
Made to order rings usually leave our workshop within 10 to 14 working days. We confirm the date by email once your size is set.
